Re: Insteon PLM USB vs Insteon PLM serial

I'm using one of the dryer X-10 active phase couplers for my X-10 devices. It does not repeat the Insteon signals. I have a couple of the Insteon access points (one plugged into each phase) for repeating the Insteon stuff. Every so often I find the phase coupler gets hung up and X10 signals don't ge...

Re: Insteon PLM USB vs Insteon PLM serial

I have been using the serial PLM for quit some time now. It seems pretty solid. I send both X10 and Insteon commands. Though my command rate per day is probably pretty low. I think there is a setting for back to back command delay. I seem to remember Scott adding something back when I had trouble wh...

Re: webRemote/Housebot WebServer - March Release

Tim,

I was able to do a quick test today and your fix worked. Thanks. I'm now able to control at least an Insteon light. I would expect the X10 to work also but won't have a chance to confirm that for at least a few more days.

Mark

Edit: I tested X10 today and that also now works.

That's great. I'm out of town for a few days but will test it when I get back.

Re: webRemote/Housebot WebServer - March Release

Has anyone who tested this been able to get it to control a simple light without using a task? I've tested it a bit and it the light device (X10 or Insteon) is behaving like it has received a property state update from the device so it doesn't send out the light control signals through the hardware ...

Re: webRemote/Housebot WebServer - March Release

Tim, I found the refresh issue was mine. The Firefox bookmarks I had saved to bring up my theme had a space between the '&' and 'Refresh'. I tried one of my buttons that changes a property that would trigger a task to run and the task ran as expected. It seems the problem only shows up for butto...

Re: webRemote/Housebot WebServer - March Release

I just got back from vacation and found this update. My themes all display well now. The only difference I'm seeing from the SWRemote is that some text I have defined as center justified is displayed left justified. Not at all a big problem... The update rate is very slow now. It seems to refresh ab...

Re: webRemote/Housebot WebServer - January Release

Mark, !No_Default! can appear as a result of two possibilities... 1- when there is no default state specified on the multi-state button and the webremote has not yet received an update from the server. or 2 - when there is no default state specified on the multi-state button and the webremote has r...

Re: webRemote/Housebot WebServer - January Release

Tim, Great progress! My Themes are displaying pretty well now. They are pretty simple so I'm sure some of the fancy ones I've seen might still have issues. A few remaining issues: The multi-state buttons are not displaying the text. They all display "!No-default!". Text I have as center ju...

Re: HouseBot Web Server

Yes, They are Multi-State buttons. The font is set at size 60 which seems to display slightly larger on the web page than in the software remote. The three missing ones on the smaller theme are also Multi-State.

Re: HouseBot Web Server

Tim, The strange time property thing is a housebot bug and not something your doing. If I check the value of these times in the housebot server program they seem to change each time I look at the property even though the task that updates them has not run again. The value only update when I look at ...

Re: HouseBot Web Server

Tim, It looks like your getting the device status pretty well now. I attached two themes. On the right is SWremote display and on the left is your rendition. I see issue with the display of some items but overall it's coming along well. One problem is with indicators. When the state is such that the...

Re: HouseBot Web Server

I tried Chrome and it seems to partially work for me. Chrome is missing some buttons that display in Firefox. Not quite all my buttons are shown Firefox either but more are shown than in Chrome.
