OK no problem, just thought it was worth an ask.

I can easily live with it.

Re: HouseBot in a Win 10 VM, continuous msgs in unRAID

Hi Scott, Yes everything still works fine would just be good to get rid of these messages. Just to reiterate, this is specifically related to HB, only when I run HB do I see these messages. I run lots of other applications like Mezzmo, BubbleUPnP etc on this system and they all run fine with no mess...

HouseBot in a Win 10 VM, continuous msgs in unRAID

Hi, I am running HB in a Windows 10 Virtual Machine (KVM) provided by unRAID. I've noticed that whenever HB is running my unRAID log is full of:- ov 3 12:01:14 Tower kernel: kvm [8047]: vcpu0 kvm_set_msr_common: MSR_IA32_DEBUGCTLMSR 0x1, nop Nov 3 12:01:14 Tower kernel: kvm [8047]: vcpu0 kvm_set_msr...

Re: Automatic restart of HouseBot upon crash

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the above scripts, very useful.

After posting my message I did do a quick search and also found a couple of programs which do similar things, windaemon and application monitor - of course ideally this should be built into HB :D

Cheers

Automatic restart of HouseBot upon crash

Would like to see some sort of wrapper that detects if HB crashes and automatically restarts it. Even better then would be to allow limited number of automatic restarts before its no longer restarted (to stop continuous crash/restart loop) and some sort of reporting mechanism if it does crash so you...

Re: Timer Reset

I find if you just set the Running property to Yes again then it will reset the timer to the sleep time again

If it goes to any of the window logs, it also goes to the system log window. The system log window is really just a place to see EVERYTHING that is happening. Like the error log window is a place to see EVERYTHING that shouldn't be happening. Thats what I thought, thanks for confirming and that mak...

Perhaps I'm not making myself very clear :?

I want property changes for ALL my X10 PIRs to go to a single trace window called PIR and NOT the system log window.

I want tasks and task block tracing to go to the system log window only.

How do I do the above?

Thanks!

OK, so is it the case that anything that gets logged to a window will automatically appear in the System Log window? I'd rather not use files, I find the Window a lot easier.

Query on logging

Hi, I want to log all my X10 PIR sensors power state properties to a single log so I can get an overall picture of what is being fired when. I create a new PIR log, then for each PIR device set the power state property logging to "Log changes to user log" and chose PIR log. Within settings...
