I am running 3.02.
So we don't want a button to be able to access its own value? The proposed work-around seems not-so-elegant.

Substitution string crashing
Whether I'm using it right or not, using an alphanumeric substitution string in a Property Change button crashes my server every time I hit that button in a theme. Here's the situation: I have an alphanumeric property in a device, the value of which I'd like to "build" with a numeric keypa...

Adhering to limits
I'm working with a ZWave device (the Dim Level property), and noticed that there currently isn't anything at the HB server level that ensures adherence to value limits. The dim level should only be allowed to have values between 0 and 100, and, in fact, if you Select a value through the server inter...

I tried the common remote frequencies, including the one that RemoteCentral reports the SA3800HD uses (56khz). No luck. I also tried the Pronto code - again, no luck. Some clarification, maybe. Learning the IR doesn't seem to be a problem - It's really recognizing it that is the problem. When I try ...

USB-UIRT recognizing button presses
I've been playing with the USB-UIRT to try to kick some tasks off if a remote button is pressed, and am having a problem that sparks a couple of questions. I have a remote (my primary remote - for a Scientific Atlanta 8300HD) that has a button I'd like to teach to HB, but it WILL NOT learn to recogn...

Doesn't seem so - I've had the Get Status function still be set to Yes with no error messages for hours at a time. Another tid-bit of information - Even when the Get Status function seems to hang, I can still use the Power State property to turn the devices on and off, so communications is still the...

zWave polling interval
I'm having a little difficulty with the polling of zWave devices, both real-time (with the "Get Status" property), and using the "Polling" property. I can't seem to get them to work reliably.. The basic problem is that it doesn't seem to work at times, but I haven't been able to ...

Others are having the same problem - See here. I'll submit a case to Meedio support, too, to let them know someone else is having the same problems and that this thread exists.

Alrighty, then. I'll shut up comforted in the fact that I have no idea if/when something that will be useful to me will be coming out of Meedio, that Meedio doesn't seem to have a handle on the effort it takes to execute the projects that they have planned, and that they seem to be unwilling to comm...

Alan - THANK YOU for the response, but with all due respect and no ill-will intended, we've heard about the committment to HB and the fact that you're 'working on it' before. Can you give us ANY guidelines on when this will come to fruition? As I said before, I know you can't commit to specific date...

Aeroschmelz Said I have never seen, that anybody of the Meedio team has deleted a post or censored things independent of their subject, so i don't think that this was deleted. This was just a convenient glitch, then? uhhhhhhhhhh, yea...... Anyone from Meedio have a response? I'd like to watch ...

WHERE'D MY POST GO?!
Where did the post I submitted entitled "Interesting Post," the one that had a poll re: Meedio's attention to HouseBot, go to? I've looked all over and can't find it. The last result I saw from the poll was that 76% of the respondents didn't think Meedio was giving appropriate attention to...
