So basically if you didn't have that MONSTER home theater (and I do mean MONTSTER.. That's the most components I've ever heard of) then you wouldn't really have a use for it?

HouseBot - What do YOU use it for?

Ok, I have a BUNCH of X10 stuff (light modules, motion sensors, appliances modules, timer, etc) and was wondering what everyone uses HouseBot for? I was hoping people would posts some sweet stuff they got going on that would want to make me purchase it. So please.. Post what you do with your setups....

Bluetooth will also work, but it is not as good as WiFi. Although the receive range that I experienced was very similar to the WiFi's, I encountered an annoying issue with bluetooth: I had to manually establish the connection between the PocketPC and the server every time the PocketPC was turned on...

Using a Pocket PC as a remote

I just downloaded Meedio Housebot and have been tinkering with it for a while.. What are the requirements for using a PocketPC as a remote. Does it have to have a Wifi card or can it use bluetooth, or even IR??
