I have accent lighting (through an exterior wall plug) and porch light (wall switch) both on Meedio x10. For the porch light, I actually replaced the interior wall switch with a Leviton x10 dimmer. That way it can come on dim and as it gets darker outside, get brighter. It also goes full bright when...

System Time.Sunrise Indicator question
I live in Houston, Texas. In the evenings, it gets dark long before the actual sunset. Can I not use the ST.SI value if I want my lights to turn on 30 minutes before sunset? I read in the help files something about TimeAndDate, but I don't understand how to implement it. Trying to input a value of D...

the caddx nx-8e panel has an x10 relay and the regular nx-8 has a port to add the x10 module (it costs about 150 bucks)... but from what i've read the panel requires extensive programming to work correctly with x10... and caddx programming documentation is VERY hard to come by. You have to be a lice...

no
no, the task has executed one time, and only sent two of the four x10 commands. the rest of the time the sunset task doesn't execute at all, and it is enabled.
i'm reading both the error logs and the system logs.

x10 Housebot problems
I'm having trouble with housebot sending x10 commands. When I first installed the software, sending x10 commands manually worked for almost all of my lamp modules (minus one from smarthome). When I set up a task to turn on/off multiple lights, ones set with specific off times worked fine, but ones b...

Using an MCE remote to control Housebot software remote
I have two PCS. The one in the living room is running MCE 2005 and has a Housebot software remote installed. The Housebot server software is running on another PC upstairs. I've created a theme for the software remote that looks like a part of the MCE interface and integrated the software remote int...
