HouseBot

I forgot about this issue until I noticed it has reocurred.

I checked the History tab of the Time property and it is updating every second but it does not match the system clock. The system clock is about 90 seconds ahead.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I seem to be getting this message repeated continuously for about 1 minute at various times during the day. I don't see a pattern of when it is occurring but I get about 60 in a minute and then the messages stop. The PC clock and HB clocks match as far as I can tell from watching them.

I am getting this debug message in the log:

"Skipping clock update due to system time set-back."

Wondering what it means and if I should be concerned.

Thanks for the reply Kevin. I am working with XP. I'll try registering the dll to see if that fixes the problem.

Has anyone looked at Openremote http://www.openremote.org for integration with Housebot? I want to attempt this but wonder if Telnet or HTTP is the best/easiest way. Thoughts?

I wonder if, since Scott is not actively developing/improving HouseBot, and if one or more of you has the ability and desire to take it over, would he be willing to make it open source or pass the source code on to someone else to continue developing. Just food for thought.
