I second this! I'm using the old w800.dll so I can integrate my HB server with my X10 security system. It would be nice to know I'm not going to receive false commands (which from looking at my log I have at least one false command that I've noticed so far but luckily it was not a command that would...

x10 wireless camera and X10 Controller Composite Property

When I'm capturing video via an x10 wireless camera I see tons of entries in the HB system log like the following... [X10 Controller.Composite Property] has changed to [N;2;On] [X10 Controller.Composite Property] has changed to [A;10;Off] [X10 Controller.Composite Property] has changed to [C;1;On] [...

Sounds good. I was just curious if there was an internal randomize function in HB that I wasn't aware of.

I could continue to use the X10 timer device for this but I like the idea of having all home automation control in one interface.

randomize lighting on/off times for security

I've got several lights that I've got time based tasks set up for so that they come on at various times after sunset for security purposes. Before HouseBot I used to accomplish this task with the X10 timer device (I forget it's exact name but it looks like an alarm clock) that can control up to 4 di...

You are right, that is promising news! Honestly, I overlooked that announcement but my comments still stand none-the-less. Again, I don't want to sound negative but from my perspective as a new customer there is an overall lack of information regarding HouseBot in comparison to other Meedio products...

I know plenty have already ranted on this topic, but I feel the need to rant as well... I went with HouseBot because it seemed liked it was a perfect fit for what I was trying to do. So far (and I've only been working with it for a couple of weeks now) it definitely seems to be a good fit and the pr...

Well, apparently this is only a problen when using the Local Software remote for testing. When I tried it on my actual tablet PC remote it worked fine! I happen to be connected to my HouseBot server via a remote desktop (RDP) connection in Windows XP. I don't know if this has anything to do with why...

property labels not consistently populating caller id info

I've got a pop-up panel that is 100% working as far as popping up when there is an incoming phone call. However, it's not consistently displaying the caller id information. I'm trying to display "last caller", "last number" and "time of last call". These properties alwa...
