Housebot & XLobby - Some thoughts...
I haven't actually gotten anything up and running but thought I might share some thoughts on combining the two. I think the approach I'm going to take is to get some HA hardware and get that up and running with Housebot on my HTPC. Then I'll add some new screens and events to xlobby that will issue ...

Good news followed by Great news!!! Go ScottBot! Sadly I've met my electronics quota for the month...two new UPSs, a wifi print server, and I have my eye on an ebay auction for a new heatsink. Gonna have to wait to buy some more toys until mid-May :( I guess that should be enough time to figure out ...

Does INSTEON support other voltages, such as 220VAC? Although Smarthome has not yet designed devices for voltages other than 110VAC/60Hz, the INSTEON technology supports other voltages. from: http://www.insteon.net/faq.html Looks like you're out of luck for now, but may see products arrive for Euro...

HTPCNews.com....it was Meedio Essentials w/ Housebot package. But I was pretty heavily involved in XLobby at that point so didn't play with it at all. Now that the HTPC is pretty rock solid, I'm starting to look into how I can extended its capabilities and HA seemed like a good next step (even if it...

If you were to choose today....which type of HA hardware?
Hi guys, I'm new to home automation and have a copy of Housebot I won in a contest and figured it would be a good place to start (and hopefully end) my needs for HA control. I'm not planning to start very complicated....just pc control of a couple of lights. Insteon certainly seems like a good poten...
