Re: X10 Power State Problems

Yep, both are enabled. I dont understand your question about the state change. When I change the state of the Device, nothing happens to the light. Unless it is in this task of 3 other state changes to 3 other modules, then it switches on ok,

X10 Power State Problems

All, i am having quite a weird problem. I have an X10 light controller set to A3 for my house lights. It functions correctly from the wall switch and the X10 controller in the room. When I try and operate it with housebot it won't operate. It will not respond to a power state change on the device in...

Re: Vista Media Centre

That has now installed the dll correctly. I still have the annoying ActiveX dialog box pop up every time I try and do anything though. If anyone has any ideas how to remove that I will be grateful!

Cheers

Re: Vista Media Centre

I have taken the plunge and installed Housebot (eval version) on the Vista Media Centre machine which has now caused it to work.

I now just have the annoying activeX dialog box that comes up anytime you want to do anything. Anyone know any good hacks to get rid of this?

Cheers muchly,

Martin.

Re: Vista Media Centre

When you run the script if you get ... ActiveX Component can't create object This would mean that the HBControlMod.dll has not been correctly registered on the pc. Would need to look into registering the dll again using regsvr32. Make sure you disable UAC while doing this. Unable to connect to Hous...

Re: Vista Media Centre

@mrichmond007 - did you get the MCE plugin working? Nope not yet, but I have not had that much time to play yet. I have some time coming up and will try and get things going. I will also have a go at the TCP plugin that Scott has kindly released. I am looking for more of a software remote type func...

I have just installed the MCE Add-in for the Housebot and configured it to point to the IP of the machine running Housebot. It is n...

I have just discovered HouseBot and I like it! It seems to be the only software I can get to operate with my given hardware configuration at the moment, thank heavans for RFXCOM support!
