I guess I just saw that Meedio included built-in support for the Tira and assumed that Housebot did the same. Thanks for your quick reply. I'll take a look at the USB-UIRT.

Housebot and Tira-2

How do I get the Tira-2 to work with Housebot. The documentation clains there is builtin support. Should I be able to add the Tira-2 as a device or a hardware interface? I can't se to find even a mention of Tira-2 in the documentation. Maybe I'm missing something obvious. Help!!!

The Ocelot internal map does match the actual equipment status, however I did not check to see if the device status within the Housebot Server is matched to the Ocelot or Software Remote. I will experiment and get back to you with more a more accurate account of what is in sync or out of sync among ...

Software Remote Button Status with Ocelot Controller

When using multi-State buttons on a Software Remote how does Housebot maintain the status of the devices controlled by each button. I notice that when I start up the remote some of the status info is correct and some is not. I have made sure while observing this that devices have only been turned on...

Software Remote Button Images

Now that I have learned the basics I want to create a more elaborate looking Software Remote. I however am not very artistic so I'd like to find some pre-designed buttons to work with. Are there any good sources to find some buttons. Also I see that the multistate buttons contain two or more images ...

Software Remote Basics

First I just want to say that all your hardwork in writing this program has so far given me many hours if not days of fun just playing around with it and I thank you very much. My wife on the other hand would like to see me come up from the basement one of these days. She doesn't seem to understand ...

Software Remote over the Internet

Is there a way to connect to my Housebot PC server at home from work using a Software Remote. I see that the connection is made via port 5009 by default. My office uses a firewall and only standard ports such as 80, 21 and such are open. Also would I need to maybe RAS in or setup a VPN? Housebot doe...

Thanks again. I hate to be a pain but this software is very cool and I'm currently obsessed with it. I still can't see where the learned Hex code is displayed. Under the remote Control Library I have created a Sony TV Remote. Under this it lists my Code Names. With a Code Name selected all that is d...

Wow development really can be productive when not in a corporate environment. I'm not a Programmer but I do work in corporate IT and we for sure spend more time talking then d...

Learning Infrared Remote Funtions

I seem to be missing a very important piece of the puzzle when using IR with Housebot. I don't understand how I get the codes into Housebot. I have an Ocelot controller. Do I learn the codes within Housebot or do I use the codes thats are in my Ocelot controller memory? Can't seem to figure it out. ...
