I don't know but...

in this forum you don't need to second anything, all questions are legit if they are understood.

I assume links will be made available when it's ready.

I retract my second, as the original question is both clearly stated and legitimate in its original form.

as i posted the original question in its legitimate form, and my second was hinged on your second. do i need to retract my second or does it fall on its own merits?

where are the old plugins?

Post by Kimberly »

Can anyone provide to old plugins for housebots. You know all the free stuff that was here. It is a shame that the old forum is gone as well. Lots of good information there, that just may be lost. Is there a way to access the old forum info?

BTW: what was once free, can't be made unfree :-) so if you know where to go to get the old housebot stuff let me know.

Although the licence agreement from the freeware version does not legally prevent anyone from distributing it, there is a moral aspect to be considered. Also, I think it would be entirely unreasonable for anyone to expect continuing support for the old freeware version.

I've been looking around the internet and all the links I find point back to this site. Does anyone have link that works?

"It would also be interesting to know if the impending "Meedio HouseBot" is anything other than a rebranded HouseBot 2.15"

I was a long time user of myHTPC before meedio picked it up also. The new Meedio version is about ten thousand times squared better than the myHTPC that was last released to the public. I hope they take housebot and do the same to it. Sign me up for the release if they do....
