Compatability with "Global Caché Home Network Adapters&

I just found this product over at SmartHome that would be PERFECT for my situation. (I need to get an RS232 connection from my home theater's receiver to my HouseBot computer, which would be a large pain. But there already is a network jack right next to the receiver, so this device seems like the perfect solution)

However, can HouseBot sent RS232 commands through this device? Has anyone tried it, or maybe has some insight?

HouseBot has a Global Cache Plugin, so you're in luck. Check out the GC_100 plugin here.
