Could we add device ID to the Channel and Program tables for the TV listing Plugin and pass the ID of the requesting device into these records.
This way one can have more than one instance of the TV listing device. With both Insight Cable and Voom Sat, the channels total over three hundred and a bunch of overlapping numbers cause losses on one side or the other. I don't mind having two separate xmltv directories to run from and I can edit the conf file so that a directory only retrieves cable or sat.
Once in the listings mdb file, I would hope it would be a simple change to read the data using the device ID.
Seems to make sense. I remember there being a bigger issue with running multiple instances of the TVListing Device. I think it was related to the DAO handling, but I don't remember. I'll add the request to the list.
