wifi pocketpc software remotes, what's everybody using?

can anyone provide me with a config for the ppc software remote. I wanna test it out to see if I can use my axim to control my laptop before me trial expires. I just really need basic keyboard commands. I only use the laptop for beyond TV. Thanks.

I'd suggest trying to configure HouseBot (without the Software Remote) to control the software first. I'd look at using the HouseBot Windows Message Device. For specifics on how to use the Windows Message Device, select "Help/Plugin Help..." from the main menu. Then select the WinDVD Device (this will give help for the Message Device).

After you get that setup, the Software Remote should be able to control it without any problem.
