Error Log

I accidentally deleted the 'Error Log'. How do I re-create it or get it back? It doesn't seem possible to create a user defined log that filters to specific severity levels.

You should just be able to add it back as a user defined log. Call it "Error Log" with the exact case. The system treats that log differently from the other logs. It identifies it by its name. If that doesn't do it, let me know and I can look deeper into the problem.

You can actually adjust the level of tracing to the user logs too. If you go to the "Settings/Tracing" menu and then select the 'Advanced' button, you can then find the Log file name in the list and select the level (category) and even the information that will be displayed/logged.

That has got to be one of the most confusing dialogs I've ever encountered.

I know. It's not even really documented. It's more of a 'tech support' dialog.
