Import/Export Configurations - NOOB

Hello,

If currently have a configuration set up with all the button layouts, colors, and IR codes assigned. If I export this, can I easily import it onto another machine? Will it bring all the personalized buttons and IR codes along with it?

It should.

You need to export the Theme that contains the layouts. Under the Theme export, there's an option to export the theme files (images) as well, so be sure to check this. This will also require that you export any Tasks, Devices, etc. that are used in the Theme. If it's a complex configuration that has external files (like scripts or device/hardware definition files), you will also need to include the extra files in the 'Other Files' section of the export.

Okay, I go to the export and select pretty much everything I can. When I click Export, I receive the following message:

The Following Tasks are referenced by other items in the export

**Reference to deleted Task**

Please select the Tasks.

What do I do about this?

It sounds like there may be a reference to an old Task that was deleted that is still included in a Theme that you are exporting. Check the Theme and all of your Task related controls (Task buttons, init & exit lists, ect.) and make sure they are all valid.
