Is there any way to show the battery status of a PDA in the software remote?

No there is not. It's a feature that I had on my 'todo' list from the very start. This is the first I've ever heard of anybody else wanting it.

Excellent! What about WiFi signal strength as well?

I've not looked into that, but it may not be possible to get that data since it is typically a 3rd party driver that handles it. Not sure...

Hehe - funny. I actually added a function to the themes for my ViewPads to display battery status. I'm at work now but if I remember correctly I just used the control that allows you to run a program and I ran the battery monitor program. I never thought to ask for this as a formal feature
