Keeping log in settings and getting email notifications

Post by Richard Naninck »

For some reason the HouseBot internet site is the only site that doesn't keep my login settings even when I check the checkmark telling the site to remember who I am. As soon as I close the IE7 browser, I will have to log in again by typing username and password. All other sites I visit keep my settings. Maybe a cookie problem. Anybody else having this same issue?

This is not something new. It has always been that way with the HB forum, I just never took the time to report it.

Also for some reason I don't always get an email notification when a reply has been made to a thread I started or replied in. I do have my profile set up right. Sometimes I get a notification and sometimes I don't. Very strange!?

I don't use the email part, but I do remain logged in (on several computers even).

I remain logged in too. I don't thing there should be a difference, but I use the cebotics.com domain (not housebot.com). You might just want to delete your cebotics.com cookie and see if that helps.

I use Cebotics.com

I will try some more PC's and report back. Since this seems to happen only to me, something must be wrong with my settings. Strange though that other sites work fine.

I get logged out every now and then, maybe the cookie expires. I used to have a problem that once I got logged out I couldn't get logged back in unless I rebooted my machine but I haven't seen that one for a while.
