"Phantom" Devices

I have two device IDs that appear in error log messages 'Unable to find Device ID _ in Device List'. I've been through HBDATA.MDB using MS Access, looking in all the tables for entries that might point to these "devices" but have not found them. I should be able to find something in the database that is pointing to a device ID that does not exist, shouldn't I?

Steve, I have had the same problem but it is more related with a theme panel that it is pointing to that device and not in the MDB. In some cases I have deleted that device from the panel but it is still trying reach it. You can actually see it in the .xml file of the theme (use find with the device ID) and can even fix it there (not in the MDB). If you don't want to mess with it, you can redo the panel and delete the old one.

Thanks for the tip; that seems to have stopped the error messages. Although I confess I don't understand why there were device IDs in the XML file, much less orphaned ones. Oh well, moving on...
