I picked up a copy of WHS and installed the latest version of HB on it. Seems to work fairly well...likely as expected since WHS has Windows Server 2003 as its base. I am going to continue to play with it and will post any problems/work-arounds as they arise. All you folks with server OS experience...please lend a hand. Also, if you are already doing this, post and let me (and others) know.
I am now beginning to understand the desire to have HB run as a service.

Re: Windows Home Server
I have my housebot running on my WHS,
how did you get it to run as a service?
What hardware are you running?
Mine is a atom 330 processor with 2gb of ram.
thanks

Re: Windows Home Server
I don't have it running as a service and actually removed it from my WHS machine for the moment as I was trying to get SageTV set-up and stable.
You could try the WHS add-in called Any Service to get HB to run as a service, though.
