Z-wave Motion Sensor & Multilevel senor not supported ?

Post by parshva »

Hi Scott,

I tried installing the Z-Wave sensor device from Homeseer HSM-100 but it does not show the correct properties. Only the Level property has some numeric value from the device. The scale & type property shows this status ' Dimensionless value'. Additonally, the Door/Window Sensor from Aeon Labs always has its state to Off. I did try both these devices to perform a light on action when motion is detected directly with the z-wave binary switch device and it works like a charm..but they don't work correctly with the Housebot software. Can you please suggest any alternatives to add the required property ?

Thanks,

It sounds like the current version of the HSM-100 firmware is no longer compatible with the HouseBot Z-Wave sensor.

Hi Scott,

Your software is really cool & user friendly. Will you be adding support for these sensors anytime soon? Any release dates for these? Any workarounds to make them work as of now?

Thanks,

Parshva,

Sorry to say that there are no plans to add support for this in the foreseeable future.

There is no plan for the future with housebot! It sounds like housebot is dead.
