SWRemote for Noob, or Rasbian (Raspberry Pi)

Post by James D »

Hello Housebot Gurus,

I have a feature request; I would like to have a Housebot SWRemote that works locally on raspbian and or noob on the Raspberry Pi, it can also work on the internet. It would help for larger screens I have to show status levels of different devices and items and "Diy smart mirrors in different rooms. Without the overkill price of buying computers and or tablets with TV hdmi outputs. Just a want.

Thanks for the help. And listening to me.
Lol

James,

I'm not much of an expert on Raspberry's, but unless it can run a Windows emulator, there's little chance that a SWRemote would actually run.

My Raspberry Pi can run NodeRed, and with HouseBots new NodeRed integration you could probably put together something.

Or if you can find an application that will do the front-end UI design and allow you to setup HTTP requests, you could use the external control plugin or MyHouseBot.com to control things.

You can run android on the Pi. So in theory you could do that and just run the android version SWRemote
