1) The "Cannot Delete a thing" problem (device, task) problem has reappeared. Same error message as shown earlier.
In addition
2) I cannot add a group within a group. For example, adding a subgroup "kitchen" under "lighting" group within Devices or Tasks. Nothing happens except the tree in the left panel collapses. Just now tried to add a group, not subgroup, under Devices. Can't. Carrying the thought further. Tried to add a dummy device. HB crashed. (But after a HB restart, COM ports are still assigned.)
I was able to do this on a new HB setup - when I began the "start from scratch "plan, trying to organize better. But since my ancient but mostly functional HBDATA file was found and launched. Nope.
There must be something missing/unique about this older version of HBDATA. When I started from scratch and with/on a virgin HBDATA , no problems with any of the above.
Sorry to be a PITA. Really.
Update: The delete things problem seems to only occur if HB is NOT started/run as Admin. HB WILL run without doing that but these issues arise. Apparently. Same with creating groups or sub groups, and same with creating a new device. Run as Admin fixes that.
So AGAIN. Never mind. I Don't understand the whole Windows "Run as Admin" option/requirement or why HB will still, mostly, run without it.
