I think the subject is fairly self-explanatory but just in case..



Since multiple image formats are now supported as well as dynamic images, the next logical evolution is to allow for loading those images from a URL.



This will overcome shortcomings dealing with path mappings and etc. and allow for some new integration possibilities.

I was going to implement URL mappings with the initial implementation, but fell short if that goal. I'll get it in at some point. You can use UNC formatted paths to get around some of the path mapping problems.
