HouseBot

I am stuck with a dialup Internet connection for the time being. Is there any way to have HouseBot determine the status of an Internet connection and start it if not before launching a script such as the xmltv Get Listings and then disconnect after it finishes?

I'm not sure I can help much with this one. You might want to do some research on what you can do with VBScript as it relates to monitoring and controlling an Internet connection. If you can do this, you could launch a Script Device every day that will initialize the connection, start the XMLTV Device and then close the connection when finished.
