Touch Screen + USB-UIRT + Housebot + MEEDIO

Hi Chaps,

Could you QA the following for me...

The plan is to use the USB-UIRT to send IR to my Projector, Lights and AV Amp. I intent to control this via a Housebot interface by using the touch screen TFT.

I'd also like to use the touch screen to control Meedio and Theatertek (via Housebot+Girder?)

Does that sound like a plan ?

Sounds like a great plan.

With the current Housebot, you can configure it using the USB-UIRT to control your equipment with IR. You can also design Software Remotes that can run on your touch screen devices.

The plugins that integrate Essentials and HouseBot are currently under development, so you won't be able to control Essentials from HouseBot (or vice-versa) until these are released. HouseBot also has a Girder plugin that will allow you to control Girder from HouseBot that you can use if needed.

What level of TT integration do you need. I am currently working on connecting HouseBot to TT

I can do it with Girder, but I would like to bypass Girder and do it directly with Windows Messages. I had tried to get this working about 8 months ago and got diverted but am about to try to make this to work again. I would rather avoid having to run Girder if I can.

Any Word On This Yet? N/T
