IR Mapping to Theme Control

Would it be possible to add the ability to define IR control for the following functions - call it a simple IR Theme Device with the following pre-defined attributes

Cursor/Tab Up

Cursor/Tab Down

Cursor/Tab Left

Cursor/Tab Right

Enter/Mouse Left Click

This would allow remote control of theme panels using any basic remote control using the learn IR functions that already exist in HB. Instead of sending the IR string to an IR device it would send the defined keyboard functions to the active theme panel. If you had maultiple themes that could be active concurrently then there would have to be a Theme device linked to each theme.

Are you suggesting a way to control the software remote using IR?

You can do this now, although the client control UI isn't as nice as something you would see in Essentials.

If you setup a Task to trigger on the IR Code Number Received Property of an IR Device, you can have the Task execute an Action to Control Remote. Within the Control Remote sub-actions there is an option to Control Focus where you can move a focus rectangle around to the controls on the Software Remote.

There's some details on this in the online help that may explain it better than this.

I think I can get enough from the help to make it work.

Thanks
