I'm currently trialing homebot, and am very impressed so far. Currently I'm running a soft remote on a PPC, but will also be using an xp client with a 12 inch touchscreen.



As far as sending information back to the soft remotes goes, is there a way of implemeting this at present, or will it be a feature of the essentials bridge?



I'm thinking along the lines of being able to browse a winamp (or essentials equivalent) track list and now playing info for internet radio and also being able to receive streams from my front door cameras.



Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Check out the WinAmp sample Theme(s) in the attachment found in this thread. It shows how you can manage WinAmp playlists.



When the Essentials integration is complete, you will be able to do the same type of thing with all of the Essentials features too.
