Repeating button causes screen blank to stop working

I found another reproducible issue. Here are the steps:
- create a panel and add a property change button
- duplicate the button
- enable repeating on the duplicate
- add a screen blank button
- open the panel on a CE software remote
- press the screen blank button and confirm that the screen *stays* blank (it should)
- press the first (non-repeating) button
- test screen blank again (it should still work)
- press the second (repeating) button
- test screen blank again (it shouldn't work)
When I follow these sequence of steps I get to a condition where the screen blanks when I push the button but comes back on again a few seconds later. Also once in this condition the timeout screen blank never works. Closing and restarting the software remote works. This problem does *not* occur with the X86 software remote - the only one I know for sure that has the problem is the HPC2000/ARM remote.
