Question about the cm11g interface

Like the subject says, I have a quick question about the cm11g.

I've been searching the net for a housebot compatible

x10 device which runs on 220V.

I found the cm11g which supposedly is the exact same thing

as the cm11a except that it runs on 220V instead of 110.

Well thats great, but I would like to know for sure if

this would work with HB before investing money in it.

Thanks

I don't know, but I would guess that the protocol is the same. Here's a post from someone with an international brand CM11 that confirmed that the CM11A plugin worked for it.

Now I'm even more confused..

The post you linked to contains a link to another page. This one:

http://www.intellihome.be/english/store ... cat&menu=7

It seems to be the one that I'm after (powersocket-wise)

But it's only called CM11, though the one I can purchase in my local store

is called CM11g and has the same power socket... Wierd

Although this leads me to believe that it will work..

Otherwise I'll just have to fix it somehow..

Thanks for the info ScottBot

Cheers

I think the signals and programming of the CM11 is equal, regardless of the ending character. I think the a, b, c, g,.... is only a way to differ the voltage and the plug.

I am using a CM11 in Norway at 220 V, I am sure it is called CM11-some-character, but in the local store it was sold as a CM11. It works with all the software I have tried that is supposed to work with the CM11...
