Has anyone managed to get the Winamp 5x plugin for Housebot to work properly?



I can't seem to get play or the playlist control to work. Stop, pause and volume all work fine

Search for "Winamp sample" on these forums. There are a few discussions that may help.

I couldn't get the PPC example to work so I have started creating my control system using the PC example and just changing it



Only worked on the MP3 Player so far, but what do you think?

I made this on the pc but strange this happen when I run it on the PPC! After about 4 mins parts of the display start to disappear as if it losing some of the graphics files, also the directory browser is blank even though you can still select folders and tracks!



Does anyone know of any special settings you need when running from PPC? I noticed that the transparency on PNG files doesn’t work either

The alpha-channel transparencies in a PNG image are not supported on a PPC. You can still use the transparency masks (where you can make a single color transparent).



I've not heard of images disappearing before. You might want to check the remaining memory of the PPC when the SWRemote is running. Maybe it's low on memory??



If the directory listing seems blank but you can still select things, it sounds like maybe the background and foreground colors are the same. Or if it's an image drawn list, maybe it's related to your other issue with the images not showing.
