x-10 security

Can I use housebot to arm and disarm my x-10 alarm. I have a ca19a to send out the rf commands

I'm not sure I understand exactly. The HouseBot W800 plugin will receive the RF security codes sent from an RF transmitter. You can then setup Tasks to control anything connected to the HouseBot system. If you have an alarm that is controlled via X10 powerline, you can have the Task send the appropriate X10 commands to the alarm to control it.

the caddx nx-8e panel has an x10 relay and the regular nx-8 has a port to add the x10 module (it costs about 150 bucks)... but from what i've read the panel requires extensive programming to work correctly with x10... and caddx programming documentation is VERY hard to come by. You have to be a licensed installer to access the online version.
