Ip controller

I am after some help here please.
I have just bought an ip power controller ( which is a network power and sensor device). this can be controlled by a web page, as it has a web server built in.. I have managed to have housebot control the device via girder via control off the small vb program(SDK) that came with the device. I however loose control when the VB program is moved or closed /restarted due to the buttons having no child properties ie id tag or number.I do not have VB to program these . However it would seem that it must be possible to controll the webserver directly from housebot ????
any ides anyone???
If anyone wishes to see the sdk let me know.
