Or indeed anyone
Hello again
I am trying to figure a way to action an ip control. I have showcenter in one of my rooms and this can be controlled via ip with statements such as
//192.168.1.17:2020/ethernet_rc.cgi??%7Fsim_key=KEY_UP
This can be controlled via IE
What is the best way to have a software remote action this? Pref. directly
Thanks in advance

You could create an
Execute Program Device and use something like
curlto drive showcenter. You would probably need to use a Script Device or maybe a Task to set the appropriate Arguments to the Execute Program device for the different actions.

Once again thanks for the prompt and great help.
Now, What else do I want to do?

Not quite sure what you meant. Can you be a bit more specific?
The Showcenter is hardware with an open port for control. >Housebot with the curl command line interface/ app. sending commands

aah!... ok I thought it was something like girder or something... an external software which could send keys via ethernet events....
