Phidgets

I know most people are not coders and like to get home controllers, but I avoided a home controller like the plague.
I wanted to stay with an open design, so for sensors and the such I used Phidgets' interface kits. You can get these for $70-$90. The have Digital input, digital swithing and analog input for which they have many controls available.
The company also releases source code for every product, so I think it would be easy to write a plug-in for.
I am not asking that someone writes a plug-in, I am just recommending that everyone look at the Phidgets device and see how many amazing things you can do and how easy custom software is to make.
