Suggestions on server PC for HouseBot?

Ever since I started using HouseBot it's been running on a PC which is also my media server *and* the HTPC for my theater. For many reasons I want to put HouseBot onto a dedicated server. Since the hardware requirements for HouseBot are fairly minimal I would really like to build a fairly small PC.

I would want it to have either room for two hard drives (so I can mirror) or maybe even better some kind of flash hard drive (to minimize power consumption and heat generation). I'll also need at least two PCI slots for the modem and multiport serial card. I'm wondering what others are doing for their HouseBot server PC. Comments?

I've been using a mini-itx board. Those things are cheap, quiet, and come with everything but a HDD and power supply. You'd probably need a riser card.

That's the form factor I'm leaning towards but I don't know if I can get a mini-itx board that has two PCI slots. I'll have to do some research.

AFAIK there are no ITX boards with 2 PCI slots..

Although you could just use a pci-riser. Click me for image
