HouseBot

About 1 1/2 years ago I had developed a plugin for HouseBot called MoviePro that provided visibility to a Movie collection from within HouseBot. When Meedio took over I stopped it waiting for a new toolset. I finally gave up a few months ago and have gone ahead and updated it and expanded its capabilities. Looking for a testor to wring it out. Ideally someone who is using DVD Profiler for their DVD's. MoviePro can now handle PC based video files and I am working on a new reader for the LDDB XML file for laser discs.

I'll be glad to help you test this. I have my own home-grown solution but it has very little in the way of metadata or pictures. I do have DVD Profiler entries for all of my movies but one thing my home-grown solution does is to automatically load the DVD from the correct changer and slot. I'm currently using a separate Access database to store this information (it gets created via an export from AVCataloger - another application I use for tracking DVDs). Do you think there might be a way to enhance your plugin to support changer/slot selection?



I also have many of my DVDs ripped as full VOB/ISO files so I could help test that as well. I also have a number of laserdiscs but I really don't use them any more. Feel free to email or PM me if you like.
