HouseBot

Hi Folks, Im a newbie so please be gentle

I have just purchased Housebot and it looks great but.......

I am trying to make my Siemens Simpad (this runs with strongarm - windows CE.NET Version 4.10) a software remote.
I have searched this site and found I need to install "Fake Dlls" on to the simpad to make it run, I have also read that to do this I simply copy the files over to the Windows file on the simpad. My 1st question is,

1) I have copied the "Fake Dlls" files for CE net 4.1 over to the Windows file on the simpad, do I need to do anything else ?

I have then gone into the main pc to the "clients" folder of Housebot
( C:\Program Files\HouseBot\Clients )

And tried to copy & Paste the software remote files over to the simpad, I have tried all 4 files shown and got the following responses when I tried to run them on the Simpad,

1) HPC 2000 - Not a valid windows CE Device
2) HPC Pro 211 - Not a valid windows CE device
3) PPC - Can not find SW Remote or one of its components make sure the path & filename are correct
4) Winx86 - Not a valid windows CE Device

I am sure I am making a rookie error here but am struggling to find the answer at the minute, any suggestions would be great

Following on from this, I have again worked my way through installing each version, same as before except when I tried to run the PPC "ARM" version, when I did this I got a client configuration screen asking for software remote name and server address, i completed these and closed the box only to get a message saying "Error: Root application directory is not set in the registry"

Please ignore the above - cracked it now
