The iTunes Script Device permits HouseBot to play Tracks and PlayLists managed by Apple's iTunes application.
The device works by specifying an Action followed by running the associated VB Script application (i.e. by clicking the State field to change it from Stopped to Running). The following Actions are available in the current version (1.0):
Play Track: Search for the Track specified by the Track, Artist and optionally Album fields. Play the Track.
Play List: Search for the PlayList specified by the PlayList field. Play the PlayList.
Play / Pause: Toggle between the Play and Pause states.
Next: Play the next Track.
Previous: Play the previous Track.
BackTrack: Restart playing the current track. If the current track has just started playing, skip to the previous track.
FastForward: Quickly move forward through the current Track.
Rewind: Quickly move backward through the current Track.
Stop: Stop playing the current Track.
Set EQ: Enable/disable the Equalizer. If enabled, use the Equalizer Preset specified by the EQ Preset field.
Info: Retrieve information about the current Track.
