Intercom

Has anyone tried to integrate an intercom with HB?
I haven't heard of anyone doing that, but probably wouldn't be that hard...
The way I would start to tackle it would be to setup a few controls in HB that selects a source and sends it to the appropriate destination using my audio distribution system.
For areas where I don't have a touch screen, I would using some extras pairs I have on some of my wiring runs for a small mic, which I would put a push to talk button on, and have those locations permanently set to intercom to a specified locations.
Or buying a cheap webcam that has a mic built in might work well too. If you got an ethernet camera, that would eliminate have to locate it close to a PC and most ethernet cam can are controlled by a web browser, so you could use HB to send html to the camera to turn on the mic.
Nothing really concrete, just my abstract ramblings, but might be a start.
