Dynamic Images

I would like to see a center option in the image display.
Example:
A theme panel has a dynamic image of 400 x 300 pixels. Resize to is enabled and maintain aspect is also enabled. When showing 4:3 images, all is fine, but when showing 3:4 images (my girlfriend likes to take pictures with a 90 degree angle to the right), the image shows up in the left part of the 400 x 300 pixels. I would like to see the image centered horizontally (so image x coord center would be at 200).
Hope that makes sense. It just looks a lot better on a theme panel.
I am creating the photo slide show idea that was discussed some months ago.
