Housebot crashes after installing it on a new editing PC

I bought a new XP Pro PC and I will use it as my editing PC for Housebot software remote.

I installed Housebot and USB UIRT and the associated drivers and plug-ins. If I stay in the editor and test the USB UIRT device, I can send IR signals all day long but if I start the local software remote and try to send an IR signal I might be able to send a couple but the main Housebot program crashes and the IR signals stop.

What am I overlooking???

It appears this was a false alarm. I had a couple of other hardware interfaces enabled that were not in use. I tuuned them off and now Housebot no longer crashes.

It's good that your problem was solved... but it still should never crash the server. If you can find the latest dump file (in your \HouseBot\dump\ directory) and send it to [email protected], I can look into what might have caused it.
