Domotics:
Watching NCIS last night, I learned something :!: All this time I've been fooling with this stuff and didn't know that I was actually studying the application of Domotics. As much knowledge and experience that lurks on this forum, maybe we can contribute something to Wikipedia.

We call it domotica. Domus = House and tica should be something like automation (automatica). I never dear to use is term since not many people have ever heard of it. Thought it was a Dutch thing;)

Domotica - Sounds like the name of a company. Turns out it IS the name of a company. Too bad... would have been a good name for a company.
