External Control Locking HB

Scott,

I am using an External Control device in ASCII mode and if I send commands to it too quickly it will end up locking up HB. It looks like it gets stuck in a loop logging "External Control ASCII Request received from client connection [1]" over and over again. Sometimes I can shutdown HB but sometime I have to end the process.

Can you also enable the "TCP Server" tracing and see what it says also?

I enabled the "Client and Client Socket" and the "Server Socket" items in the Tracing dialog but nothing new showed up in the log. Is the "TCP Server" a different option?

Server socket should be the one. I was curious to know if you also saw trace messages about "Data Received..." over and over too.
