Overcoming 'Record Deleted' message box

Sometimes I get this message and need to restore the database from a backup.
It becomes a problem when using a PC without having any screen attached.
Request:
When encountering this problem, first check if a backup database exists.
If it exists, copy and run it without any pop-up error messages.
Please allow the backup filename to be relative to the database name from the registry (not necessarily hbdata)
Thanks

Hello!
To eliminate the popup messages problem, I use Windows XP Embedded with Enable Default Reply feature (
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... ed.5).aspx) Hope this helps.

Hello all,
I just came home from a week of travel. During the week we had a long power outage. Now I cannot start housebot and get the 'record deleted' message box.
Is there a fix for this? It appears that I need to find a backup....what if that does not exist?
Thanks for any/all help

Hi All,
Well I solved my problem, after searching the forums. I found the answer under a different thread. If you do get the 'Record Deleted' message box, I found that if i pull the .mdb file into MS Access, go to tools/Database Utiliities/Compact and Repair.....then exit.....the HBdata.mdb file was fixed.
Worked like a charm for me. I have learned my lesson about doing backups too
