In my never ending attempt to clog the board.... Downladaing 0.5.25 seems to have remedied the problem, no enabling the "get channel listing" seems to retrieve the channels into HB, so the same theme now sees the channels. But no descriptions. Help is apprciated (unless I solve it myself i...

OK, Downloaded 0.5.25, config worked. I then replaced the 0.5.25 with the 0.5.15 files, but kept the config file. Seems to be fine thus far. However, I get an error in the Log in HB: Error opening XML file...it's loking for the hblisting file in the XMLTV folder. A search on this forum says that loc...

Any step by step instructions out there? Where to begin? I'm unable to get the listing to work within HB.

Perhaps holiday hangover. Hmm.

Thanks!

If he has an Xmas tree, ya think HB controls it?

Thanks for all of the hard work Scott!

I'm completely and totally interested. Since it will obviously use the mp3 codec (or other audio codecs) on the machine, could this also be used to play movies?

Well, I think you see where I'm going with this, no? I do a directory listing, and cause the file I click on to launch a player on another computer utilizing the UNC name. Perhaps a workaround for using winamp on a remote machine.

Scott, you mention "and the WAV file name as the Arguments should work." Is there a way to assign a file chosen from a directory listing to a variable , and then place this variable in a play argument? For example, if I do a directory listing on a remote machine, select a file, can this fi...

When I say Jerky, I meant that the control isnt that good or relaible. Winamp isnt the best video playback application anyway, and I find with large movie files, which consume a lot of RAM, Winamp's response to commands over a network from HB tend to be slow or sometimes not even work. I also need t...

More brainstorming on a video "server" and control

So ya understand the setup, go here : http://www.housebot.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=166 So, the control of winamp is rather sticky. However, I happen to have a wireless (RF) multimedia keyboard.......anyone know of a RF Transmitter / receiver (much like the USB-UIRT) that I could use to learn those...

Control Copy and Paste Location

I am now on my 3rd GUI revision (read: overhaul), and I typically alter the existing panels...without deleting them. I can easily select a control, and copy and paste it onto another page, however, the coordinates (location) of the pasted control do not match the original. Of course, I can view prop...
