As you see, there have been some changes. HouseBot is now a member of the Meedio product line. It complements their "Essentials" product (or will complement it soon...). The reality is that my current employment situation left me with little time to grow HouseBot very much. You may have noticed that since version 2.0, the updates have been scarce and not exactly feature packed. The downside is that HouseBot is no longer being offered as freeware. The upside is that there is now a real company behind it that has the capacity to do more to HouseBot than I ever could (or ever would).
Here's a postabout the upgrade for existing HouseBot users.
I'm still involved from a technical standpoint, so don't feel abandoned. Feel free to post your questions and issues. The transition from the old site to the Meedio site has left the additional downloads somewhat dismembered. Most of the plugins and things are still available, but only as attachments to posts. Someday this will get worked out, but let me know if you need anything.

I'd like to think that it means that you now have a product with a future beyond its current capabilities. Since Meedio will be actually marketing HouseBot, there's a good chance that the user community will grow and increase the plugin base as well.What does this mean for us prior Housebot users?
