How to "enable" ttDebug output?

I have a simple question. In my interface plugin I have a few TraceMessage lines that output to ttDebug. What do I need to do be be able to see these? Do I just need to enable tracing on the hardware interface?

Click Settings->Tracing...->Advanced, select your interface and the output (window or file)

Thanks for the response! I had remembered another way to see the info (basically what I asked in the first post). I like your way better though as it doesn't clutter up the System Log (the other way sent the info to both the log file and the window). How did you figure out how to use tracing - just playing around?
