New to ZWAVE and housebot

What am I doing wrong :) Sorry I'm new.

Ok I bought the homepro USB device and one appliance module for testing purposes to get a feel of using home automation. I installed everything and created a hardware interface and created a device. In the instruction it says that i need a wireless controler. Is this going to be an additional purchase?

I thought the pc can control everything without buying a remote? I have a harmony 688 can i mimick a remote using that? This is the error that im getting:

Due to an error, Device [Lamp] Property [Power State] DID NOT change.

the node is set to 0 probably because it doesnt recognize a device which i prob need the remote for correct? Sorry for the stupid or obvious questions i'm a first timer.

You need a remote that can program the zwave devices. Something like this:

The USB device can not program the devices, it only send the correct signals.
