"Clean" Pronto Code

Hi,

I new here but i'm learning fast,
I have a problem working with "clean" pronto codes:

I've pasted them into the pronto code section in HB and the IRhelper
And the program can't transmit them, i've menaged to transmit non clean pronto codes like :

0000 006C 0024 0000 0159 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0666 0159 0057 0015 00AC

But when i try A "clean Code" like:

900A 006D 0000 0001 843C 2BD4

I can't get it work, what i'm doing worng ?
Most of my IR data base looks like the second one.

The 'clean' code looks very sort, so that may be the issue. I'd suggest finding the code on RemoteCentral and seeing if it works with that one.

Depending on with Hardware Interface you are using, you may need to increase the repeat count.

Hi Scott,

I had tried changing the repeat count , didn't helped.

The code seems to be very short but it's working with the Pronto TSU7000,
When i pasted the code in the IRhelper the "Test Code" remain not active (grey), So it seem that HB is not tring to send it trough the USB-UIRT (which is 2.02 ver).

I'll try copy paste the same code couple of times ....

P.S : the long IR code in the example is for the same controled device (Set top box).

I'm fairly certain that those really short codes rely on the database that is built into the TS7000. I could never get those to work with the USB-UIRT either. I think you'll have to try using the "dirty" ones

I think it must be something like that. It doesn't look like a valid pronto code.

If you check out this articleon RemoteCentral (excellent article, BTW), you will see that the first data block should be 0000 in pronto hex format.

I'm pretty sure that *is* a valid Pronto code - I think it's just an "RC5" code which is something that is used by Philips (and some other) devices.
